Dimethyl phthalate Usage:
A plasticizer with strong solubility for multiple resins, compatible with various cellulose resins, rubber, and vinyl resins. Has good film-forming, adhesive, and waterproof properties. Usually used in conjunction with diethyl phthalate for the production of cellulose acetate films, varnishes, transparent papers, and molding powders. A small amount is used in the production of nitrocellulose.
